The International Fashion Icon Anna Cleveland Confirmed as Brand Ambassador for the Second Year in the 2024 Pianegonda Campaign

Pianegonda reaffirms its attendance at the most prestigious International Cinematographic Art Exhibitions.
Yesterday, Tuesday, May 21, the design brand had the honor of presenting the special Robert Bresson 2024 Award that was received by director Eugène Green at the Italian Pavilion during the Cannes Film Festival.
The Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo with the Patrocinio del Dicastero per la Cultura e l’Educazione and the Dicastero per la Comunicazione della Santa Sede, conferred the award to the director, now in its 25th edition, with a ceremony during which Pianegonda presented the exclusive plaque designed, manufactured and donated for the important recognition.
It has been a moment of deep discussion and celebration, made all the more meaningful by the presence of the wife of the director after whom the award is named, Mylène Bresson. She had the honor of personally presenting the award.
“The special Bresson Award,” reads the motivation, “is awarded to Eugène Green, for his incessant and consistent search for an authentic cinematic form, respectful of the truth of man and things. An ideal tension to the Beautiful, daughter of a metaphysical idea of the seventh art: for him cinema is word made image”.
Eugène Green’s works reflect a deep understanding and continuation of Robert Bresson’s artistic and spiritual legacy. Through his commitment to originality, meticulousness, and expressive intensity, Green upholds the values of rigor and integrity. In fact, his work is characterized by a careful control of resources and a consistent engagement with profound themes in uniquely personal and creative ways, primarily exploring the essence of “living.”
In 2023 Pianegonda designed and produced the Bresson Award for director Mario Martone, and the presentation took place during the Venice Film Festival.
Lanfranco Beleggia, President of the Bros Manifatture Group and owner of Pianegonda, had the privilege of presenting the prestigious award: “We are honored to have designed and produced, again this year, such an important award that celebrates the beauty of art-house cinema. Pianegonda is actively committed to supporting the world of art and culture, with the aim of promoting and enhancing the creativity and innovation that are deeply rooted in Italy’s rich artistic and cultural heritage. Through its support, the brand intends to preserve and spread the excellence and uniqueness of Italy’s heritage internationally,” Beleggia said.
