Pianegonda, the renowned design jewelry brand, made a dazzling appearance at the 81st Venice International Film Festival, hosting an exclusive soirée in collaboration with Terrazza Cinematografo at the iconic Hotel Excelsior.
The evening was nothing short of spectacular, set in a magical atmosphere brimming with stars from the world of cinema. The highlight was an intimate, exclusive interview with the multi-talented actress and director Greta Scarano, who is also the brand’s ambassador. This special moment was part of the ‘Cinematografo Incontra’ series, curated by Gianluca Arnone, editor-in-chief of Rivista del Cinematografo. Scarano was honored with the prestigious Pianegonda Special Award, a tribute to her remarkable talent and captivating performances.
Adding even more sparkle to the evening, several actresses adorned themselves with stunning Pianegonda creations. Among them was Chiara Vinci, a close friend of the brand, who lit up the lagoon in some of Pianegonda’s most coveted pieces, showcasing the seamless connection between the cinematic world and the finest Italian jewelry design.
The night also saw the Pianegonda Award being bestowed upon the accomplished entrepreneur Maura Wasescha for her work on the documentary A St. Moritz Story, emphasizing the brand’s dedication to empowering women.
Over the next few days, Pianegonda will continue to honor greatness with the presentation of the Bresson Award to the legendary director, screenwriter, and producer Marco Bellocchio on August 31st, and the Naba Award to the visionary Iranian cartoonist, director, and screenwriter Marjane Satrapi on September 3rd.
