The XXI edition of Cortinametraggio, the renowned festival dedicated to short films, concluded on March 29, 2026, in the splendid setting of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Held from March 23 to March 29, 2026, this year's event once again saw Pianegonda alongside the festival.
Pianegonda renewed its support for the festival for the fourth consecutive year, confirming its deep connection with the world of cinema and new talents. In this context, the fashion house interprets jewelry as a true expressive act, transforming it into a language capable of telling identities, stories, and personalities.
The design creations were worn by actresses, guests, and personalities present at the festival throughout the event. The sculptural and contemporary lines of the jewelry conversed with gala moments and meeting occasions, enhancing looks and interpretations with a distinctive and immediately recognizable stylistic code.
Founded and chaired by Maddalena Mayneri and directed by Niccolò Gentili and director Aldo Iuliano, the festival reconfirms its role as a reference point for Italian short films and a privileged platform for emerging authors, professionals, and industry operators.
The XXI edition featured Federica Pala as godmother and Roberto Ciufoli as host, and saw the participation of, among others, Paola Minaccioni, Ricky Memphis, Aurora Giovinazzo, Riccardo Scamarcio – who held a CSC Lab organized by the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – Paolo Genovese, Donatella Finocchiaro, Claudio Falconi, Jerry Calà, Emanuele Vicorito, Damiano Gavino, Martina Sala, Ricky Tognazzi, Simona Izzo, Christian Marazziti, Luca Capuano, and Roberto Proia.
Bratiska by Gregorio Mattiocco was the true protagonist of an edition that, with 23 short films in competition, reaffirmed Cortinametraggio's vocation to give space to new talents and to foster encounters between emerging authors, the industry, and the public. A mission that Pianegonda fully shares, choosing to support the festival to nurture young generations and contribute, through its creative language, to the growth of new protagonists in visual storytelling, where visual language meets emotion, experimentation, and contemporaneity.
