Pianegonda and artist Manuela Manes, in collaboration with Deodato Arte, celebrate the dialogue between contemporary jewelry and abstract painting during Milan Fashion Week

On the occasion of Milan Fashion Week, on February 26th, Pianegonda and Manuela Manes, in collaboration with Deodato Arte, presented the talk "Silver Whispers. Fashion & Art Meet" at the Pianegonda Boutique in Via Gesù 3, Milan. The protagonist of the event was the new Scripta collection, which inspired the entire exhibition project and the dialogue with the artist's works. Pianegonda's Scripta collection was born from the desire to express movement, the flow of life, and the passage of time, translating these elements into jewelry with a sinuous and fluid design. The inspiration comes from the movement of water: each creation evokes the grace of waves, adapting naturally to the wearer's form. The material becomes soft and enveloping, while the surfaces capture and reflect light, creating depth and lightness. The rhythm of the forms evokes incessant movement, transforming and renewing itself without ever stopping. A tribute to water and its silent power, where jewelry becomes a pure expression of balance, natural harmony, and vital energy. For Manuela Manes, Scripta – even from its name – evokes the sense of tradition being passed down, a dialogue that continues over time. Its wavy forms refer to sea waves and become a metaphor for the elegant, proud, independent woman. The artist wanted to tell the story of an already strong and recognizable collection, "extracting the poetry of the jewelry" and translating it into painting with vibrant brushstrokes of color, to transform it into a sign. The creative contamination between art and design thus becomes increasingly evident: graphic signs and chromatic textures that recall the intensity and luminosity of the jewelry. Born in the province of Pordenone and adopted by Milan, Manuela Manes explores the abstract as a language of emotion. Through color and material, she transforms personal experiences and human connections into visual and sensory experiences. With this collaboration, Pianegonda confirms its vocation to create jewelry capable of expressing identity, personal stories, and values of inclusivity, independence, and self-awareness, and to promote new creative synergies between art and design. The works of Manuela Manes were visible at the Pianegonda Boutique throughout fashion week.
